Yellow Traditional Patola Saree
Yellow Traditional Patola Saree
This saree follows a classic Patola layout where the body is kept in a clean yellow base, allowing the woven patterns to stand out without visual distraction. The design is placed in a structured format rather than scattered motifs.
A blue border and pallu bring contrast to the yellow base. This combination is traditionally used in Patola weaving to create a visual separation between the body and edge of the saree, giving it a defined frame-like appearance.
The weave is done in Single Ikkat technique, where yarns are pre-dyed before weaving. This results in slight texture variations that are visible on close observation, making it different from printed fabrics.
This saree is generally selected for occasions where a bright base with strong traditional contrast is preferred, especially in daytime or festive cultural events.
